W.O.D (Workout of the Day)
CrossFit offers a daily workout that members refer to as “The WOD”. WODs are preplanned and scalable to each person’s abilities. Workouts generally include a warmup followed by a short (anywhere from 4 minutes to 30 minutes) period of high intensity exercise that is a mix of the CrossFit components. The idea is to test your own abilities but benefit from working as part of a larger group. Everyone in the class does the same workout together under the guidance of a coach.
