What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that prepares you for your everyday life and athletic endeavors more effectively and efficiently than any other program out there.

It consists mainly of a mix of aerobic exercise (running, rowing, skipping), calisthenics (body weight exercises), and olympic lifting. CrossFit itself is defined as that which optimizes fitness – constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity.

There is a community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In fact, the communal aspect of the program is a key component of why it’s so effective.
