“I have been interested in Crossfit and incorporating it with my run workouts. When I found out there was one close to home, I checked it out. I’m going into my third year with the gym.
 
My favourite workouts are on the Concept2 rower. Whenever  I had a running injury, rowing was my backup. I like most lifts because they challenge me physically and mentally.
 
I’m a big fan of strong (stinky) cheese, root veggies and craft beer.
 
Also love Vintage film noir murder mysteries.
 
Im really proud of Beating prostrate cancer 5 years ago with radiation. 🙌 
 
I was born in Manchester, England. Came to Canada by ship. Landed in Halifax February 2, 1957.
 
My favourite workout song is The White Stripes – Seven Nation Army”

As part of her competitive season, Carolyne (@cprevost27 )is hosting a Gymnastics Workshop at CrossFit Colosseum. This is your chance to sharpen your skills, train with purpose, and learn directly from a 4x CrossFit Games Athlete—all while supporting her road to the Games.

In the session you’ll learn: 

✅ Level up your gymnastics
✅ Train with intention
✅ Build confidence on higher-skill movements
✅ Learn basic drills that layer onto one another to build stronger technique and better control

🏋🏻‍♂️ Speed steps are a great way to scale double-unders. If DUs feel tricky, focus on small, repeatable sets where your technique stays strong.

🏋️‍♀️ Don’t forget to play around with single-unders and different footwork—build consistency first, and speed will follow!
